What is B-day?

Based on my 8+ years of experience as a brand designer branding processes take 4-5 weeks not because of the amount of time spent designing – it is communication, the emails back and forth, and the hours spent on Zoom calls spaced out which fills weeks. And it’s understandable! Fresh business owners have very tight schedules and 1000 aspects of their company to worry about – branding being the 1000+1. Therefore I created a to-the-point method that takes 8 hours of your time and presence – compressed into a day.

Schedule for B-day

  1. Preliminary brand questionnaire – tackling important questions about your brand and positioning
  2. On the day itself: I ask for 8 hours of your time. During this day we will have several calls for feedback and presentation.

  3. We kick off in the morning with an intensive brand strategy workshop: mapping the target audience, strategy, and market placement of your brand ~ 2h
  4. – Design phase: The bulk of the day is spent on creating your brand – ensuring that we take your audience, messaging, preferences, goals, and problems in this process
  5. – Offboarding: Once your design is completed, I present your brand guidelines which are sent to you at the end of the day in a PDF format – Depending on timezones, you might receive the final PDF at the beginning of the next day GMT+2

What is B-Weeks?

The same as B-day, but on a longer stretch. We have calls spread out through weeks, you get to think longer and perhaps present the ideas to your team.

FAQ

Please send an e-mail to [email protected] and we get in touch with you as soon as possible.

I recommend B-day for starting businesses and entrepreneurs who don’t just need a logo and some colors, but recognise the importance of setting a strong foundation to their brands. They are usually very busy and therefore an intense and productive session fits their plan more. They are eager to launch their product, or present their idea for investors. All of which needs both strategy and visuals.

If you ask me: YES!
Decisions are made quicker, and more intuitive – often staying closer to the core of the brand.
The long-form process is basically longer because decisionmaking is slower,  more  time is spent with back-and-forth, meeting scheduling, and so on.

Unfortunately not – I prefer delivering the brand fundamentals in high quality. However, with the brand book in hand any agency or designer will have an easy time designing your website or business cards.
